It is beneficial for any age who has a muscle or joint injury which is caused by overuse or age-related restrictions.
Our Thrive Tape tape is made with a “proprietary formulation” of natural minerals, which is silkscreened onto the tape and emits far infrared.
This product is made of 97% cotton and 3% spandex with a pharmaceutic grade acrylic adhesive. It is latex free.

No. Only the adhesive strength of the tape will wear off after several days of continuous wear. But the Far Infrared will continue as long as the tape is on the skin.
The tape is intended to be worn for several days of continuous use. It is sweat and water resistant, so it is safe to wear while showering, bathing, or swimming.
Our tape is easy to apply. There is no need for exact placement by a doctor or physical therapist to get the full benefit of the tape. Each box of tape includes full application instructions, so please refer to those before you use.
The tape works best when applied to clean skin. Be sure your skin is free of sweat, lotions or oils before applying. Hair free skin is also ideal, but if not possible, take extra care when removing.
For best results, the tape should be applied approximately one hour before your workout or shower, so the adhesive has time to secure on the skin.
Do not overstretch the tape across the skin as this can cause skin irritation.
Once the tape is applied, rub it to trigger the heat-sensitive adhesive.
Round edges help keep the tape from lifting off the skin, so it stays secure for longer periods. Square edges tend to lift off easier and may require more frequent applications.
The adhesive on our tape is strong enough to stay in place for several days. Skin irritation and tearing can occur when the tape is not removed from the body with care.
For optimal results, remove in the shower with warm water after several days of continuous use or by gripping one corner and slowly pulling the tape back across the skin.
For more sensitive skin, apply a layer of olive oil or rubbing alcohol to the top of the tape and wait for five minutes before beginning to peel the tape slowly off the skin. These liquids serve to break down the adhesive and make it easier to remove.

Often, skin irritations occur when the tape is stretched too far across the skin. One way to reduce the chances of this happening is to apply the tape with no stretch across the skin.
Another option is to apply a thin layer of Milk of Magnesia or Pepto Bismol to your skin and allow it to completely dry before applying the tape. The dry powder substance will provide a barrier for your skin and reduce the chance of an allergic reaction.
